Samsung Electronics opens AI center in Moscow
MOSCOW, May 29 (PRIME) -- South Korean giant Samsung Electronics has opened a center in Moscow for research and development in the fields of computer vision and basic algorithms for platforms with artificial intelligence (AI), the company said on Tuesday in a statement.
“The center will expand the coverage of research and development activities of Samsung in the sphere of artificial intelligence for such key industries as robotics, intellectual autonomous control systems,” the company said.
The entity will comprise artificial intelligence laboratories with the country’s leading universities.
According to Samsung’s experts, Internet of Things devices with embedded artificial intelligence will generate colossal volumes of data during the nearest years.
